On May 23rd, I had my final day of academic classes at my high school. It was finally real- the curtain was closing on this scene and opening up to a new one. Graduation is now not so far off and neither is college or adulthood. A few tears were shed in AP Literature and AP US History, but still I was glad to be leaving, and I still am. I’m excited for my future, and no longer scared. I can’t wait for Bible college especially.
It’s crazy looking back at the 13 years I spent in public high school, because it truly never felt like it would end. The idea of not having to go to school is odd until it’s actually happening.
So I finished all my finals and now it is senior week and come Friday, I’ll have my diploma!
